The Department of Anthropology in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Victoria invites applications from Indigenous scholars in Anthropology or related disciplines. The appointment, effective July 1, 2020, will be made at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, with eligibility for tenure. Doctoral candidates within 12 months of degree completion are also invited to apply. If the successful applicant is a doctoral candidate, the appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer. We seek a colleague who can draw on their experiences as an Indigenous Person to connect and articulate with these research themes, bringing their own particular expertise which could include (but is not limited to) Indigenous social and cultural well-being, Indigenous methodologies and epistemologies, or collaborative community-engaged research.
